We have three very nice rooms above the pub — two large doubles and a twin that can be booked as a single. All are en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities, a TV and a hair dryer, and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Double or twin rooms are £110 per night, or £70 when the twin is used as a single — and all rates include a full English breakfast. Long-term stays can be arranged at negotiable rates. Parking and WiFi are free throughout the pub, and we welcome dogs and well-behaved children.

A comfortable twin room with en-suite facilities, ideal for friends or as a single room for solo travellers. Full English breakfast is included, and long-term stays can be arranged at negotiable rates — just ask.
The area
We're perfectly placed for a day on the water, in the forest or up on the fells — and there's plenty nearby for a rainy day too, including the Michelin-starred L'Enclume a short drive away at Cartmel.
